A is for Alice Children’s costumes and accessories – A is for Alice is the home of unique, handmade costumes and accessories for little kids with big imaginations! All designed and handmade by Ruth, in the workshop in the garden, each item is full of love and magic, and makes the perfect gift! Super stuff for super kids!

Apundantly ClearDigital illustrations, cute pins and badges – I started Apundantly Clear in July 2020 – my drawings usually surround cute doodles, puns and mental health affirmations, as this was something I was in need of during the pandemic. I create t-shirts, badges, pins, stickers, earrings and mugs.


Birmingham Bike FoundryDr Bike Service – Birmingham Bike Foundry is a worker co-operative. We’re a bike, cargo bike and e-bike repair shop involved in cycling activities across the city. We also stock new parts and accessories and refurbish donated bikes. At Stirchley Community Market we offer a Dr Bike Service.


Darkfire Hot SauceFermented Hot Sauce – Small business making microbatch fermented hot sauce with an emphasis on flavour over fire. We have a wide range of sauces inspired by food from around the globe and we are currently Birmingham’s only 5 star hygiene rated hot sauce manufacturer.


Fait par moiHandrafted lampshades and homewares – Established 5 years full time, making handcrafted lampshades, lamps and homewares. Winner of the Theo Paphitis small business award.


Forever LidaUkraine Fundraiser – A Birmingham-based community founded by Irene Sheyko (SCM committee member) to honour her Grandmother Lida. We collect humanitarian aid donations and raise funds to buy goods, vehicles and other eu quipment, needed by Ukrainian civilians, medics and evacuation teams. We hand deliver the aid we collect to the Donetsk region using a network of volunteers in the UK and Ukraine.


Fox and GrapesShirts, tote bags and stationary – “I’m Fox & Grapes, a maker based in Stirchley – we make clothes and accessories based on lost Birmingham publicity, old campaigns and overlooked Brummie icons. Fox & Grapes is a strand of work I do within my non-profit Tickertape Parade CIC, which is all about positively impacting how we feel about where we live (and our website is here: https://www.tickertapeparade.org/).

Infinity Brewing CompanyCraft brewery – Infinity brewing was launched in Dec 2020, we make and sell craft beer to the public and trade customers. We make small-batch brew runs which allows us to trial different recipes and flavours. (Chris is a Stirchley Community Market volunteer!)

Isherwood and Co Bournville-based florist – free re-potting service and house plant advice, alongside new houseplants for sale. Ask about Birmingham Flower School!

Hope You’re HungryEast Asian inspired Street Food – award winning wings, bao buns, rice bowls and curry!

Karoline Rerriehandprinted screenprints – I’ve specialised in screen printing since 2011. I screen print a range of greetings cards, limited edition prints, recycled card decorations and recycled cotton tote bags. I also run screen printing workshops at the RBSA gallery and Winterborne House.

Kings Heath Action for RefugeesFundraising merch – Running since September 2015 a volunteer led charity working with refugees and asylum seekers in Birmingham. We design, make and sell sustainable merchandise to fund our activity.

Kneals Chocolates – handmade chocolates – Kneals is a Birmingham handmade chocolate and confectionery business set up in September 2011, in partnership with my wife Gaëlle. We have always been passionate about food and wine and we often dreamt about creating our own chocolate-based business.

Kura IleraHandmade botanical soaps – We formulate natural botanical soaps using soothing butters and oils to nourish and condition your skin.

Love Lane Brownieshomemade luxury brownies – After years of searching for the perfect brownie but never finding it, brownie-obsessed baker Gemma decided to end her search and create it herself – the recipe for the best homemade gooey brownies.

Stirchley Art RoomArt for sale / publicising FoSL – Stirchley Art Room is a social enterprise (CIC) providing art learning opportunities for the community, we have also started selling work by participants. We are based at Stirchley Library. We are supporting Friends of Stirchley Library (FOSL) to extend their work.

The Jam Labunique preserves – The Jam Lab was founded in 2020 by Shaquille Hinds. After working as a chef in Michelin starred restaurants across Europe, Shaquille dipped his culinary knowledge and experience into creating unique jam flavour combinations that you will be hard pressed to find in any supermarket.
