New market flyer by Debra Nelson Design

Thanks to Debra Nelson Design for providing us with a beautiful new set of imagery for Stirchley Community Market! Debra is a Stirchley-based designer, and she will also be having a stall at our next market.

Please note, we are aware of a few strange adverts that comes with our wordpress site/web link. We’re looking to switch to another platform later in the year, though as we are ran by volunteers and not for profit, it’s a case of finding the time/cash!

Stalls (and more) at the Summer Market

Saturday 17 June from 10am-3pm, for the second of our quarterly seasonal markets for 2023. This market is taking place on the Saturday of Fathers’ Day weekend.

We hope you find something you like the look of – and we’ll see you soon.

Community stalls this market:

First timers – HELLO! These stalls are brand new to Stirchley Community Market:

And not forgetting the return of:

Community activity:

  • Stirchley History Group – running heritage tours of the Stirchley Baths building, sign up at their stall
  • Isherwood & Co – past SCM volunteer committee member – relocated to Bournville in 2021! Jordan is holding a houseplant 101
  • Ampersand Projects CIC – with free growing packs and a growing activity!

Plus Verbena Kitchen is running the cafe serving hot drinks and snacks from the hatch into the main hall.

and TOASTED are serving up award-winning toasties from the carpark/courtyard.

Stirchley Library is open next door too – and it is StoryTots morning so do come afterwards.

Unfortunately Stirchley Open Cinema are no longer available to run a community cinema from the cinema room – we’re working out alternatives for the space.

As you can see from our stalls listing, we’re a proper community affair. THANK YOU for your support and for understanding that we do things a little differently around here. We get 100s of applications for stalls and we can’t accept everyone, and as we’re run by volunteers we can only commit to quarterly markets. The good news is – there’s lots of markets around Stirchley nowadays and you catch other traders missing from this list at places like Attic Brewery and Yogaborne ✨

As a community group we are very grateful for the support of our committee and volunteers, and the ongoing support of Karen Cheney, Stirchley Baths, as host.

Next dates: Sat 16 Sept and Sat 2 Dec.
